Years ago someone slipped a Monochrome Photo taken of the Spitzkoppe in Namibia into my hand – and said: “How would this go down as an oil painting?”

Ok – now it is done … I had the privilege of a closer encounter with the Spitzkoppe and simply had to put brush to canvas.

This work was finished in March 2015.
